About the Mom @ Home and Her Family
I'm a 25 year old mother of two girls, Nia and Carys. I am the lucky wife to Skaidrys (yes, weird name!), he is Lithuanian/Brazilian and works overnights at the home offices of Wal-Mart. We live in Northwest Arkansas and absolutely love it here.
I went to John Brown University majoring in Graphic Design and Digital Media with a Minor in Illustration and sadly burnt out after 3 years of pushing myself too hard. I was still able to get a graphic design job but ended up hating it and decided to look toward my first love of animals instead. I started a job at PetSmart as a pet care specialist and after only a month, was promoted to the department manager. After 2 years as the pet care manager and being moved to one of the Little Rock stores, I was given the opportunity to move to the grooming salon as the manager. I trained as a groomer and worked on getting that salon back into shape since it hadn't had a manager in the salon for over a year. After 8 months I was asked to set up a new store back in Northwest Arkansas and I jumped at the opportunity! After a year of working in the new store I was asked back to the store I started at and agreed to help out their salon. I then went on maternity leave for Carys and didn't go back due to her having extreme acid reflux issues. I worked for PetSmart for 5 years and loved it, I will miss the people and the animals I got to see every day.
And now we are at the current time of my life. I am trying to be a stay-at-home mom and still bring in some income to help my family have those extra little luxuries they deserve. I have joined the Wealthy Affiliate Team and am training to be an internet marketer. I had always wondered about those infomercials that came on late at night about people making thousands of dollars at home, so I did a little research. I didn't really want to spend any money and hoped I could just find someone giving out some kind of leads to how these people made money at home. After much digging and scraping through the searchings of Google, I found a guy that gave out a free guide to success on internet marketing. It finally gave me hope and I joined up with his Wealthy Affiliate Team. I did the 1 dollar week intro and decided the investment was worth the knowledge I would receive from the Wealthy Affiliate Team.
