I have no excuse, I got bogged down with other things and completely forgot to keep updating this blog.
*slaps hand* Bad!
So, I've gotten 2 payments from Squidoo for ranked pages and amazon/ebay sales!
Remember that Squidoo pays you 2 months late. So I got my October payment in December, November payment in January, and my December Payment today.
October total: $8.81 off of 10 lenses
November total: $41.01 off of 16 lenses
December total: $54.65 off of 18 lenses
This is not including my clickbank affiliate payments which is staying at around 200-300 dollars a month because I haven't added any new ones to my lenses. (which I really need to start doing)
This just goes to show that Squidoo is very residual and grows with age. So even though I had to wait 2 months till my first payment of only 9 dollars, my next 2 months were much better and growing. I slacked off making many lenses the last couple months, so we'll see if the payment stays the same or goes down a little. If it does go down, its my own fault for not working as hard as I know I could have.

I follow PotPieGirl.com and her
One Week Marketing Guide. On an update e-mail that she sent out was a blog post about the FTC and the revisions they are trying to put out on their guidelines that they hope can help prevent things like Scam Sites. Something that really struck my interest was a uTube video she posted, courtesy of Harlan Kilstein. The Scam Site is called a Flog and they are why most people that try to make money online, fail or end up paying thousands of dollars in their attempt...

I just found a wonderful site to help me get backlinks and views to my original article pages! Its called
Xomba and it allows you to put up your own article on their site OR create a "blurb" about a link. They are very well indexed in google and searching for my "keywords" I'll find my
Xomba blurb or article on the first page, usually top 5 depending on the keyword. This is wonderful since most of my articles are not indexed yet and I'm still working on getting them to have plenty of backlink...

Inboxdollars.com is one big clickable advertising site. I actually envy whoever made this site because I'm sure they make a TON of money off of it! I joined Inboxdollars.com about 6 months ago, its free, its easy, it also teaches me things to research for my REAL online income endeavors. I have personally made a total of $36 off of just clicking their e-mails, but...that has been in 6 months, so this definitely isn't a "quick money" solution.
So, here are the Pros and Cons to Inboxdollars:

I actually made a sale from a forum signature that pointed to an Aion blog of mine! On the blog there was a post about a leveling guide a friend pointed me to, so I wrote a review on the guide on a Squidoo which pointed to my affiliate link to the guide. Someone followed my Signature link all the way to the actual guide and bought one! That means $24 in my pocket while I slept! I have to thank
PotPieGirl for her tutorials on
Wealthy Affiliates for my success so far!

It looks like I finally have the full approval of my husband now. He's even mentioning helping me out! I got a big dry erase board for right next to my desk and have it split into 4 quarters. One quarter I have a "10 Questions" section, Second Quarter I have a "10 Items" section. In those quarters I leave a space for a subject with a numbered list to 10.
eg: 10 Questions "Brewing Beer at Home"
-
-
10 Items
"Must Have Outdoor Toys"

Then as I do my research I write them down on the board. The tw... Continue reading...

So, I wrote a few articles throughout the weekend after my parents went back to the hotel, and guess what! I had a sale off one of them! I kinda figured I wouldn't see anything for a few weeks/months, but low and behold, I made 50$ from someone purchasing a swingset off of Amazon after reading my review of the swingset we had just gotten!
Here is the squidoo review: The Sunchaser Cedar Play SetI followed one of the affiliates tutorials on the Wealthy Affiliates training center and it worked!

I love it when my parents come to visit, but then again, I hate it! :D I always feel like I need to impress them. When I lived with them, I wasn't the cleanest, most organized person, and with a 2 year old, thats still impossible to achieve! So, now I have procrastinated on finishing up the cleaning and they will be here in about an hour and a half. Do I really want to Swiffer the floors? I know they are understanding to a little bit of "mess" they live on a farm afterall...but it just feels ...

Wow, what a day! I did a WHOLE LOT of reading on
Wealthy Affiliates today, there is so much information there! I'm still trying to decide exactly where I want to start out, but by next weekend I have a plan to know...my parents are coming over this weekend to help with some home improvements so I have to put this on hold until they are gone. I got everything on my plan list finished today, except for playing Aion...I haven't even touched it today! (hopefully I'll get a little bit of play time...
